The Artist Series: Submarine Burger Creates a Platform for Local Creatives

We’re proud to introduce The Artist Series — a project that transforms our Burger Beer labels into miniature exhibition spaces and amplifies the voices of the local creative scene.

Through this initiative, four times a year, the label of our original beer will be reimagined by a different creative mind — each bringing their own story, signature style, and vision to life.

But this is more than just a label design project. The Artist Series is a platform for dialogue with the creative community and a space to support a scene that deserves far more recognition.

“We believe that art doesn’t belong only in galleries — it belongs in the streets, neighborhoods, parks, and everyday life. Every label in this series carries a different story, and it’s our way of showing respect to the creatives shaping our world,” say the team at Submarine.

Coming soon to all Submarine restaurants

In its first two editions, The Artist Series presents two outstanding artists — Ivan Dilberović and Boris Bare.

Ivan Dilberović, a classically trained graphic artist and illustrator, is known for his distinctive take on everyday themes and playful approach to visual language. Boris Bare, a celebrated street artist, has made his mark with murals and public works that leave a lasting imprint on the urban landscape. Both their works reflect a deep-rooted attitude, offering support to the independent art scene and to creativity born outside of established institutions.

The Artist Series isn’t just a campaign — it’s a tribute to the people shaping the scene with their creativity. Every label tells a story of support and of the space we’re creating for those who make. We believe art lives wherever it’s given a chance to speak — and we’re here to help make that happen.

The new beer labels will soon be available at all Submarine restaurants across Croatia — in Zagreb, Split, Rijeka, Zadar, Osijek, and our newly opened spot in Pula.
